Can you believe our busy week? Anniversary, Brandts birthday and now Maci's birthday. We didn't plan this very well did we? It has been an ADVENTURE as Dora the explorer likes to say. You can tell I have Dora on my mind after throwing Maci a Dora Birthday Party. The Miles family: (Grandpa, Grandma, Aaron, Brita, Brogan, Kamree, Chandler and Robyn) joined us in a fun filled evening of "Dora" to celebrate Maci's second birthday. The Rogers family unfortunately couldn't make it due to living in Boise. Devin and Katey were enjoying themselves on a vacation in Peru. They were all missed! The night was quite eventful; we started off with a few Dora games like "Drop the balls in Boots boot" , "What is in Backpack?" and "Where did Swiper hide the cupcakes?" After going down Sunshine Slide, rescuing Dora and Boots from Bubbly Pond, and searching in Star Cave we were able to find the star cupcakes that Swiper swiped. We opened gifts and Maci got a lot of really cute things, thank you everybody! We sang to our birthday girl and enjoyed dessert and called it a night. It was a lot of fun. I don't know who enjoyed it more the kids or me putting it all together? Maci had fun and I guess that was the goal. She is such a sweet little girl who is filled with lots of love and enjoys making us laugh. She adores her older sister and can't get enough of her dad. She is 100% a daddy's girl! Brandt loves it! I actually think it is great especially when she calls for him in the mornings. That means Brandt gets to get out of bed to get her on those early mornings! Ha! Ha! What a joy she brings to our family! We love you Maci and Happy second Birthday!

are you the cutest party planner or what! seriously, what a great time! i can't believe maci is TWO!! where does the time go. she is adorable. you and brandt have little mini's in your family...it will be fun to see who little bj (brandt jr, we've already named him for you) who he looks like. so are we going to hang out sometime in the next decade? what the heck? you know i love you! bff!! we'll chat soon.
