Beach Party
Preslie had her last day of school. It was a beach party. Preslie surprised her class with a new haircut. She has been begging me to cut it and I didn't know how serious she was. She has a friend (Abby)in her dance class that has a cute little bob. Abby gets to wear fake hair at her competitions. Preslie thinks that is so cool and wanted to get fake hair. So apart of me felt like the only reason she wanted to chop her hair was for the fake hair. I told her even if she cuts it she wont be able to get fake hair and that did not seem to bother her. She was really wanting to cut it before school was out so she could show her teacher and classmates, leaving me only a weeks time to get her in. I was able to schedule her the day before school got out and Preslie walked into that appointment with absolutely no fear. She chopped it and Preslie smiled and said that she loved it. It really is cute on her and she is so excited about it and loves to show it off to all her friends and family.

Girlfriend Weekend
Another successful weekend in St. George with my girls. We had a fantastic time. The theme of this years trip has got to be NAIL POLISH thanks to Keri and her crazy addiction to nail polish. I think a few other girls might have gone home addicted to nail polish as well. We laughed A LOT! We ate A LOT! We shopped A LOT! Good times in St. George and Vegas. I love my friends.

My Dad is a Rapper!
When our family was running the 5K Mrs. Syverson who is Preslies teacher stopped Brandt to ask him if he was a rapper. Brandt was a little confused. Mrs. Syverson said that Preslie was showing her class her show and tell and was just about to go sit down when she said, "Oh ya one more thing... My dad is a rapper." Then she sat down. Mrs. Syverson said that she could not stop laughing. Brandt had to explain to Mrs. Syverson that he was acting like a rapper one night and said to the kids, "Did you know that I was a rapper?" I Love that kids believe everything that you say. I guess we need to be a little more careful what we say to our kids. I think Brandt secretly wishes he were a rapper. SHHHHH!!!

Bluff Ridge 5K
We finished! !!!!! Every year Bluff Ridge Elementary holds a 5k fundraiser. They get the kids pretty pumped up about it. Preslie came home one day inviting all of us to run the 5k race with her. I explained how long a 5k is and she was confident that she could do it. The next morning Preslie and I put on our running shoes to go for a little run. I was curious to know if she could really do this. We started off at our corner and was walking by the time we got to the next corner. We finally made it around our block which is a half of a mile. Preslie was exhausted. I explained that we would have to run that 5 more times to equal a 5K. She stayed confident. Race day came and we were all ready with our matching shirts. The race started and Preslie didn't stop. She did awesome. I think the motivation with all of her friends surrounding her made it that much more fun for her. She was a trooper, finishing it BEET RED. It was a fun family outing. After the race the school had a carnival where they got to play games, got their face painted, ate dinner and won MORE FISH. AHHHH. Preslie and Mayci both won a fish bringing them home to meet our other fish Whiney who is yes still alive. Mayci named her fish Princess Sparkle Pants and Preslie named hers Jewels. Gotta love Gold Fish.

Mayci Graduates
She did it! Mayci Graduated from her first year of Pre-School. They had a little program over at the library. I have to say that Brandt and I were really impressed with our Mace. She sat there so good and sang all the songs. She was fun to watch. Luckily Mayci was able to go to school with some of her favorite friends. We are so proud of her and all that she has learned. If you remember the post back in September when she started school, it talks about how she was so worried about the cottage cheese day (Little Miss Muffet.) Good News, she survived and now she loves cottage cheese. Thanks Ms. Sara for taking good care of our girls. Ms. Sara is moving so she won't be our Pre-School teacher anymore. We will miss her.

Mothers Day
I love being a mother. I love being a mother to wonderful kids. Mayci was so excited to give me this little flower that she put together for me. Preslie gave me this beautiful necklace that she made at school. Beckem gave me the best wet kiss ever. I am blessed to have such beautiful children that I just adore. There is nothing better than sneaking in their rooms at night while they are sleeping and kissing their cheeks and whispering "I Love You."

Mayci Turns Four
Our cute little Mayci turns FOUR! Mayci has been counting the days down for her Princess and the Frog Birthday Party! We started off the morning with Breakfast that Mayci had chosen (cheesy eggs, toast, an orange, captain crunch and orange juice.) She reminded me over and over that that was what she wanted for her Birthday Breakfast. Later that Afternoon her friends showed up for a Princess and the Frog Birthday Party. Brandt and I had ordered her a Tianna dress and it was suppose to be here before the party. Didn't quit make it in time. Luckily it made it mid party so she was excited to wear her Princess dress to open presents. We played pin the lips on the frog, We had a lily pad hop, played princess princess frog, made frog slime (loved that,) ate cupcakes and green ice cream, and sang Happy Birthday to Princess Tianna Mayci. Later, the Miles family joined us for some pizza and a celebration for Mayci. Mayci had a fun day. We are so in love with our little Mayci. That girl make anyone smile. She loves to smile and make people laugh. She has such a tender heart and never forgets to tell us how much she loves us or how beautiful we are. Mayci we love you so much and think you are so beautiful. Thank you for making these past four years so wonderful!
