A Soggy Work Day in Bear Lake

Sunday night we spent the evening with Grandma and Grandpa Miles in Perry. We ate dinner, played and spent the night. The girls thought it was cool sleeping at their house. Early the next morning the four of us packed up and headed to Bear Lake. It was lightly raining when we left and by the time we got to the top of Logan Canyon we felt like we were in a winter storm. It was snowing pretty hard. There was work to be done at the cabin. Good thing we came prepared. One of the big trees needed to be cut down before it fell onto the cabin. My Grandparents, parents, and a helpful neighbor next door was able to bring the tree down successfully. We showed up just in time for clean up and cutting and hauling the logs. Besides the down poor it was a success. Thanks to our two little helpers Preslie and Maci!
