Aaron is Thir-TEE
Aaron turned thirty this year. Brita threw a surprise party for him at Swan Lakes golf course. Aaron was very surprised after seeing all of us there, thinking he was going camping with Britas family(car packed and all.) It was a fun night. Everyone mentioned why Aaron was T- rific and watched a video that the Crosbys had put together for him,. We were served dinner there and topped it off with ice cream and 9 different toppings to choose from that Robyn came up with. It was all so cute and a lot of fun. We love uncle Aaron and spending time with him. Happy Birthday Aaron and welcome to the thirties club.

Bear Lake 24th of July
We celebrated the 24th of July up at the cabin with Gramps and Craig and Monica. We decided to rent this funny bike (whatever they are called) and cruise Bear Lake Main Street. We spent more time laughing than anything. We cruised on down to the cabin and almost rolled the thing coming down the rocky road. We had to get towed up the hill by a four wheeler because we would have had a heck of a time getting back up the hill. It was hilarious. Brandt got to spend some time golfing with Craig and Grandpa. I was even lucky enough to go and hit the sticks with my Grandpa. I played HORRIBLE, I was trying way to hard to impress my 86 year Grandpa who ROCKS at golf. It was fun being able to spend some time with him and my family.

Preslie 1st grade
My little girl is growing up so fast. I can't believe she is in first grade which means ALL day school. I decided t o spend the day with Pres before leaving us for the first grade. We got BIG drinks at McDonald's because she is getting so big. She thought that was the coolest thing ever to have a big drink all to herself. I think 90% of it got wasted though. Oh well. We then got ourselves pedicures. Preslie chose the color for both of us. After getting our toenails painted we went school shopping finding her a few outfits, backpack and a lunch box. After we made sure we got ourselves some lunch from Tastys, Preslies very favorite place to eat. we had so much fun spending time together. I am sure going to miss her but certain that she is going to do great and love it!
First day of school
Porter and Preslie
Preslie, Maddie and Alysa

Her seat in her new class with Mrs. Pectol -C track. Preslie will be going by Preslie Kate in her school class. There are 2 Preslies in the whole school and they both just happen to be in Mrs.Pectols class. Not only are they both Preslie they are both Preslie M. so that is why our Preslie goes by Preslie Kate. It's a good thing she has a cute middle name.

Trek
I was lucky enough to be called as an adult child to trek this year. To be honest I don't know if I was really that excited for it. I mean leaving my husband and kids for three nights, sleeping in a sleeping bag under the stars in cold weather with no sleeping pads, no showers, using port a potties, trekking all day in the heat, and wearing these ridiculous outfits is not my type of vacation. But you know I would do it all over again. What a wonderful experience and very humbling at that. I was able to find a very special spot in my heart for the Pioneers. I can't even imagine what our ancestors went through. I sure have a greater appreciation for the Pioneers. I was placed in the Denney family. I was able to get to know some great kids and hear such wonderful testimonies from these kids. The spirit was so strong and I couldn't ask for a better trek experience.

Waterfall Canyon Hike
We woke up this morning and decided we wanted to take the family on a hike. I was getting ready to leave on trek and thought it would be fun to show the kids what I was about to do and see if I was even close to ready to go on trek. Lets just say, if it is this bloody hot the whole time on trek I know I will die! So, we show up to the hike and open the door and notice that Beckem is bare footed. Yes, we forgot his shoes. I don't know how that happened. We have three water bottles to share. We were probably 1/3 of the way in to the hike and realize we are almost out of water. For those of you who have not done this hike, its pretty hard. Especially on a 101 degree day and carrying your child that has no shoes. Brandt remembered this hike a little easier 12 years ago. Ooops. We continued on, the girls were doing really good except they needed water every 5 steps. We decided to at least make it to the part where people were saying can get really tricky for the little ones which was very close to the top. We finally made it and had to bribe the kids with slurpies if there was so complaining on the way down. They were spent!!!! They earned there slurpies and NO I'm not ready for Trek.

4th of July
We spent the 3rd of July with the Miles family celebrating the 4th of July as well as Robbs birthday. We had our own mini Olympics. When Robb was a kid him and his brothers would have them selves their own little Olympics and make metals for them with jar lids. We were presented our own medals in the events that we won. After receiving our medals we ended it with Fireworks. Isn't that what happens after the Olympic games?

We got ourselves a dog
It's true people.. we are officially dog owners. I don't know exactly how it all happened. It all happened so fast. It was a Friday night and we decided to go to dinner with the fam. after dinner we were driving by and saw a sign that said, "Shih tzus for Sale." We decided to pull over, with having nothing else to do that night. Immediately we were in Love with this little guy JACK. He was so little and cute (not to mention other people were interested in him) made me a little more anxious to say, "SOLD." We immediately ran to Pets Mart not knowing what the heck we needed for a dog. That was an interesting purchase. We were sold on every item that they made for dogs. All I knew was that I wanted a Pink carrying case even though he was a boy. The kids were so excited and would not leave his side. I couldn't asleep that night wondering , "What the the heck did we just do?" Did we make the right decision?

Cousin Cookie Sale
What a business? These kids worked hard together to make some extra money for some ice cream cones. It was all about team work. They all worked hard on making there sign and calling it the COUSIN COOKIE SALE. We made cookies and punch for the sale. We kept the extra cookies and punch in the shade because of the 100 degree weather. When starting to get low Cutler was the runner and would run to the garage to get more for the customers. Mayci was in charge of getting the napkin and cups ready while Preslie poured the punch and Grayeden handed them their cookie. Harlee did an excellent job collecting the money and giving the customers the right amount of change. They did an excellent job and was able to enjoy an ice cream cone after a long day of work!
