First day of Kindergarten

Well today was the big day. My little girl attended her first day of Kindergarten. I really didn't think I would need the tissues. I thought wrong. It was a good thing that it was hotter than crap outside, it helped me dry those tears up. As we were getting ready for school I was talking to Preslie reminding her that she needs to use her manners, be nice to all the kids, listen to the teacher.... and she stopped me in the middle and said, "don't worry mom, I'm going to be the best girl ever!" I was glad to be re -assured that.

Her new teacher Mrs. Syversen

Her new class lining up for the first day.

This is what she made at school today. Her nails were painted pink today as well. Her favorite thing about Kindergarten today was Music class. She got to be the Coyote while singing a cowgirl song. She loved it and loved her teacher and can't wait for school tomorrow!

Meet the teacher day

Preslie was able to go and meet her teacher today. She got to go to school and see her class room, her teacher and all of her new class mates. Preslie is on all year round school. She is on A track and has Mrs. Syverson. She is so excited to start this new chapter in her life. I am excited as well and a little sad. We will miss having her around the house in the afternoons.

Preslie and Porter got in the same class. They are so excited to be together. I can't blame them since they were together in the hospital at birth. They pretty much have been together ever since.
Preslie, Porter and Max. Max Painter is another friend of Preslies going into Kindergarten. He got another teacher but is the afternoon as well.

A Week in St. George

We decided to pack up and head down to St. George for the week, before Preslie starts school. We had a relaxing and FUN week for sure. We spent most of the time at the pool . The kids could swim all day if we let them. One of the days we spent at "Pottery Class" that is what the girls called it. Preslie painted a Penguin, Mayci painted a Duck, Brandt painted me a Princess mug and I painted him a Basketball mug. It was so much fun. Mayci pretty much used every color on her Duck and Preslie got creative and drew a heart on her Penguins belly. Brandt kept asking the worker there to fix his mug and she kept replying, "you will like it so much better if you do all the work." It turned out way cute.

The girls and I got a girls day out. We went and hit the show High School Musical 2 at the Tuacan High School Theatre. We had a great time. I will say I was a little disappointed when I saw Troy. I was hoping to see the real Troy Bolton. You all know how I have the biggest crush on him. Preslie did ask why they all looked so different.

Just waiting for the production to start.

Afterwards we were able to meet some of the cast. The girls were excited to get there pictures with Sharpae, Troy and Gabriella.

See what I mean about Troy Bolton? They were all cute and did a good job.
Our week as a family was so much fun. I love to be with our family and love creating new memories. I couldn't be a happier wife and mother. I love my family!!!!

Gone Fishin

While I was at girls camp, Brandt took the girls fishin with Grandpa Tom, McKell and Kiara. They were all quite the little fisherman's. They were catching fish left and right.
I wouldn't say they were the biggest fish ever.

They were the perfect size for these girls and yes it was a stocked fishing pond.

Go Mayci!!!

GIRLS CAMP ROCKS!!!!

I had the opportunity to attend girls camp this year. I am a mia-maid advisor and I just love it. We have such fun girls and I serve with amazing leaders. Girls camp was held at Camp Woodland up Morgan Canyon. The theme this year was "Daughter of a King." We were able to have Jenny Phillips come up and perform for us which was amazing. The week was filled with fabulous events. I even rock climbed. I didn't know heights made me so nervous. Once I got to the top my heart was about to jump out of me.
FUN TIMES!!!
