HAPPY NEW YEAR 2010!

This was such a fun New Year for our family. We spent the New Year in St. George with the Calls, Davis', and Sandalls. On New Years Eve St. George held a First Night Celebration. We got ourselves some dinner from Claim Jumper and then headed over to all the festivities. They had lots to do there for us. Everyone was able to write on this big chalk board, we made crafts, ran obstacle course races, listened to great music, kids played on the jumpy toys, watched fireworks and even saw a magic show.
Our kids were all troopers. They all made it up until midnight and even some later!

These were hats we made and glasses that said 2010. Brauch told me that I looked down syndrome with these glasses on.

Adam and Brandt after the big race. If you look close Adam has a big gash across his nose from the intense race that Brandt and him ran.

The Magic show was a hit. The kids were in AHHHHH. I have to admit Brandt and I were pretty impressed with his magic. He borrowed a $100 bill from me and made it look like he set it on fire. Later in the show he had me come up and unlock box after box that were inside of each other to find the $100 bill that was mine. And the reason I know it was mine was because he had me initial it. Pretty Cool Huh?

After all the events we went back to our place. The kids all laid in the girls room and watched a movie while the adults GAMED it up. The Calls and us were a team against the Davis and the Sandalls. Unfortunately we lost to them and had to cook Breakfast for them in the morning. Now morning was only a few hours away. We did make breakfast and it was a lot of fun.

The next day we hit the ice with families. Preslie and Mayci had never been on ice skates before. They had a lot of fun. I think we may need a little bit more practice. You know that when their bottoms are wet that may mean that they fell one to many times. They want to go back so that is a good sign.

We kept these kids going. It was for sure a party weekend. We headed on over to Pirates Island for some dinner and then after to the Davis' for some dessert and hot tub. The boys surprised us girls with tank tops that they bought at Pirates Island that said WENCH. Aren't they sweet?

We ended the weekend with Aquatic Center for some swimming. What is St. George without swimming? Beckem loved the water and couldn't get enough. This New Years will for sure go down in the books. We all had such a wonderful time.
