The Weekend was filled with fun events and and there was an agenda that was followed. We started off Friday morning with the guys golfing and the girls and kids went and kicked it at the Splash Park on Main Street.
Later that night we had what we called our "neighborhood reunion" at a park in Ivans that was really nice. We brought dinner and played some games.
Even later that night us girls ran the midnight 5K. It was awesome. They gave out glow in the dark stuff and even glow in the dark t-shirts. Did I mention I beat Kim in the race. HA HA. A joke that most of you won't get. It is a memory I won't forget.
The following day us girls went to the Taylor Andrews and got pedicures or scalp treatments. If you have never had a scalp treatment it is time to get one. FABULOUS! After we shopped a little and had lunch at 25 main.
Later after chillin at the pool we had a Fiesta at another park and brought Mexican food to eat. We had a contest on who could stay on the wheel (one of the park toys) the longest. It got pretty intense. Due to the rain that night the Mexican hat dance was cancelled. Hopefully next year!
Our weekend was a success. The kids all had a wonderful time as well as us adults. We voted to make this a new tradition. Can't wait for next year!!!!
