I Got Tagged - High School

I have been very impressed with my friends answers to all of this. Memories that I had forgotten about or don't even remember. I have to admit that I am already losing my memory. I hope it is just pregnancy, because my high school days were great! I hate that I am already forgetting this time in my life.

1. Did you date someone from your school? I dated a lot of guys from our high school but was never serious with any of them. Player! JK

2. What kind of car did you drive? My sophomore year I drove a white Pontiac grand am. It was sweet. Amber mentioned that it was Ambers grey Pontiac's girlfriend. Sometime during my Junior year maybe even my senior year I drove a white 4X4 Nissan truck. I thought I was pretty cool in that. Dana and I named it KD for (Kriste and Dana) since it only fit two people in it and we were always together. At the end of my senior year I purchased my first car it was a purplish blueish Ford Probe baby. It was the sports car I always dreamed of. ha ha.

3. What was the most embarrassing moment of high school? I honestly can't think of one. I did a lot of dumb things but I don't know that I was ever embarrassed by them. I probably just thought that I was funny. Now that's embarrassing.

4. Were you a party animal? In a good way. I always liked to be the center of attention. Didn't we Jami? Sorry Heather!

5. Were you considered a flirt? I might have been but maybe didn't realize it at the time. I don't know girls help me out.

6. Were you in band, orchestra, or choir? Nope not that talented.

7. Were you a nerd? Yeah right, I was the Drill Team President. OOOOH!

8. Were you on any varsity teams? If that means Drill Team, than yes.

9. Did you get suspended/expelled? No. I was very well behaved.

10. Can you still sing the fight song? Just bits and Pieces. I leave that up to my cheerleading girls.

11. Who were your favorite teachers? I don't remember them. I really liked our VP Mr. Woods.(thank you Jami for helping me out on that one.)

12. Where did you sit during lunch? I guess at the same table every day and once we finished eating, we moved to the stairs to chat. I kind of remember that. Maybe I was in B Lunch.

13. What was your school's full name? West Jordan High School

14. School mascot? Jaguars, Jags, Jamal - love it.

15. Did you go to Homecoming and who with? Sophomore Year - Craig Newbold , Junior - Tyler Lewelyn & Senior Year- Greg Seare

16. If you could go back and do it again, would you? No. I liked it how it was.

17. What do you remember most about graduation? Definitely the popular sash. Us girls thought we were pretty funny and tied the white piece from the gown around our necks and called it the popular sash. After I can't forget meeting up with some of our friends and their families at The Old Spaghetti Factory.

18. Where did you go senior skip day? I don't know what that is. I will be honest I didn't skip class very often. I was always kind of afraid to get caught.

19. Were you in any clubs? Just GDI

20. Have you gained some weight since then? Not at all. It is so weird I am on my third kid and still no weight gain. Can you believe that? (I wish)

21. Who was your prom date? Junior - Mike Allred, Senior - Jeff Lake

22. Are you planning on going to your 10 year reunion? Uh, I planned the 10 year reunion! I went, and it was good to see a few old friends.

23. Looking back, what advice would you give yourself? Definitely to study harder and take high school a little more serious. Maybe even study for the ACT and not just fill in the dots to get it over with. I had a drill team completion that day and was in a huge hurry! (even though I think it is timed.)

Girls if I have made a mistake help me out!

I tag 5 people: Desiree, Sarah, Robyn, Katey, and Leesa ( I think you already have been tagged but I haven't seen you post it yet.)

You're funny! I'll help you out, yes you were a flirt! But, never in a threatening way! You didn't need to flirt though, the boys always loved you!

I remember the day you came home with the bluish-purplish Probe. Seriously we thought we were soooo cool driving around in it!! Good times!

I'll agree with you on the no weight gain thing, it is weird that after three kids we still look the same!
You were definately a threat. I wish that you would have commented about on a girls choice dance that you had to ask your date (AKA Matt Larsen) to drive and then he totaled his car. I think that is way embarassing-ha ha! Just kidding.

Love the GDI comment. As I'm reading all of GDI's HS posts, I notice that none of us went to Prom our Soph year. We must have had something super cool going on and probably had to turn a bunch of guys down, right?
HS was great (most of the time). I'm so glad we've been friends for so long. You are the BEST!
