The Dreaded Fish

Brandt was cute and surprised the kids with their own fish. Preslie named hers Flippy, Mayci named hers Nemo and we named Beckems Whiney since he was whining when they were naming their fish. I think Brandt forgot about all the cleaning and feeding of the fish. I made it clear that I wanted no part in the fish this time. I cleaned the fish bowl plenty of times when we had fish before. I swore we would never own fish again. I guess you should never swear. Well unfortunately Flippy and Nemo didn't last long. We didn't even have them for a week. Whiney is going strong though. Secretly I think Brandt is ready for Whiney to pass on so we can retire the fish bowl. I think Whiney might out live us all.
