My little ski bunny

Saturday night ended up being a really exciting night for our family. Our friend Adam was a ski instructor and invited a bunch of kids up to Powder Mountain to teach them how to ski. I was hesitant at first thinking that Preslie was too young. Last minute we decided, "what the heck" and packed up the family and headed to the slopes. Adam spent some time teaching them "French Fries" and "Pizza." After a few little drills... Brandt headed up to the buuny hill with Preslie to check it out. She did awesome. Brandt was so excited to see Preslie learn and enjoy it so much. She never complained about being cold and was very coachable. At the end of the night she decided she wanted to ride the lift and ski the big mountain. She asked Brandt when she got to the top to not let her fall off the mountain. She said, "my favorite part of the night was going down the big hill and riding the swings to the top." Now for the rest of us, we spent the evening in the SWEET LODGE. If you have ever been to Powder, you know it is not a sweet lodge. It is more like a Cafe. Or a Grease Pit as Des called it. It was an adventure! A fun night to remember!ahref="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhI4VCsd-hnqSa93IYGR85xneSeJJ-HBoC2ijaAim0QmT18DDp7hwRj8ThKZ1iAI9KUjN3BSyvWhRr0_7t_6rAW2aXqAtlwahIPLBfP_DkFNtgBDXXhkY-l2YY1cmEigBf6BD9hOv2yzMzb/s1600-h/022.JPG">Some of Preslies friends learning the techniques of skiing.

Beckem was a trooper chillin in the lodge all night.
Mayci wanted to ski so bad. She wanted purple skis to go along with her purple coat and hat.

It's always easier to teach them while they're young . . . that's exciting that she liked it so much.

Mayci's hat and coat are sooo cute!
